Welcome to the 14 week Armor of God series for Early childhood children. All six pieces of Armor have two lessons each, with an intro and two week review. This is a fun series with an emphasis on standing firm as well remembering truths about ourselves and others! Each lesson is full of interactive and engaging activities for the children in your ministry, home or preschool.
The craft for each Week 1 is to add Armor of God pieces to the drawn versions of each child. You will need a large roll of butcher paper to trace each child. I encourage you to keep these at church or school so that they can add to them every other week!
Week 2 is making life size Armor pieces as well as an “ACT IT OUT” section in the story. A little more prep on your part but the kiddos will LOVE it! At the end of the series I had a couple of kids go into “big” church with all their pieces on and recite their memory verse. It was a great way for children’s ministry to be integrated into the service and the congregation really enjoyed it!
Have fun with this series, again I pray that it blesses you, the kiddos you work with and their parents!
Intro, Belt of Truth, Breastplate of Righteousness, Shoes of Peace, Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, Sword of the Spirit, Review.
*I use the New Living Translation Bible (NLT) for all my Early Childhood lessons.*

Hi Alyssa!
This is so wonderful! You’ve put a lot of thought into these. My youngest is headed to kinder in the fall and I’m sad to be moving away from the preschool activities. I’m excited to say we’ll be enjoying your lessons for the rest of the summer!!
Thanks for sharing.
