I love a good minimalist baby item. Babies take up so much space, for such a tiny person!
I knew I had to find a solution and a substitution for a high chair. There was noway we were fitting a high chair into our home! I also looked into a clip on chair but our table has a funny lip underneath so that wasn’t an option either. So, after seeing a friend have a chair similar to this Summer one, I just knew I had to have it, and to be honest . . . it’s been even better and used more than I could have ever imagined.
Here are my top reasons to get this Summer high chair!

This means it can be put away, used on the go, and you can pack it!
I love the fact that I can put it away if I need to. It doesn’t get put away often but it’s not a big deal if we to put it away for guests or to clean.
We take this thing EVERYWHERE. To friends houses and restaurants. I prefer this chair over the restaurant’s high chairs because it has it’s own tray rather than using the restaurants table to put her food on.
We pack it! We pack it in our suitcase to take on vacations with us. So nice to still have a high chair no matter where we go and not expect the people we visit to have one for us!
Also, because the tray comes off I’ve used the tray over her carseat for a meal on the go. 🙂

It can put on all types of chairs. Using the convenient buckles you can place and secure this chair to any chair that has a back. This is why we take it to restaurants and friends’ houses because there will always be chairs!
We have also plopped her down wherever we are! She has sat on the floor of the airport to eat dinner, right in the middle of a giant table, and so many more. *Please use caution and NEVER leave your baby alone in this chair*
It’s comfy!
Our girl loves this chair! She wasn’t a fan of the Bumbo, so I quickly order this chair and she could chill in this chair for hours! She also loves food and she knows that this chair = food, so that helps! When her legs weren’t long quite long enough to sit comfortably out she would just tuck them up using the middle part of the tray, it was cute!
You can also find toys that suction to the tray for some fun play time! This Summer chair conveniently comes with an accessory that snaps onto the tray with built in toys.
This chair was a game changer for us!
I tell alllll my friends, and complete strangers, about this chair. We have gotten so many compliments and “that thing is so cool” comments when we are out and about. I should really be a salesperson and earn some commission (I will through Amazon if you click to buy through my link at now cost to you!) because I love this chair so much. It’s also my new go to baby shower gift!!
I will say, I do I have two minor complaints though, clearly they aren’t a game changer and they are worth the sacrifice to have such a minimal chair. 1. The tray is hard to get back into the bag with the chair but we have learned a few tricks to get it in there enough to be portable. 2. I still have yet to find a suction bowl that sticks to the tray. I know that’s a common issue with all high chairs, and it’s hard to expect a bowl to realllly stick!
Even with my two minor complaints, this chair has made life so much easier and I love not having a bulky high chair in our house. Even if you have a high chair, keep this one in the car for all the eating adventures!
