Here is a review of the J.E.S.U.S. acronym!

J – Joyful

E – Exciting

S – Safe

U – Understading

S – Son of God

We definitely don’t serve and love a boring God. He has UNLIMITED resources. Not only that but He promises to give them to us!

It’s important to me that kiddos know we serve an exciting God. Life with Jesus is exciting. It doesn’t always mean its easy, but we serve a God that provides for our needs with ALL the resources in the world. Some of the most “exciting” times in my life have been when I needed to rely on God the most. He showed up and provided in the most exciting ways. He LOVES to do that for us. If we trust Him, He will write such an exciting story for our lives that we could have never dreamed of. And in return, we can excitedly serve Him by blessing others!

Life with Jesus is also exciting because HE answers PRAYERS. We get to have a relationship with a God who wants to give us the desires of our hearts. “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires” Psalm 37:4.

There are plenty of verses in the Bible about God providing for us in exciting ways.

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

“Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!” Luke 12:24

“So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” Matthew 7:11

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10

Again, life in a relationship with Jesus doesn’t equal an easy life. But it does mean a life of answered prayers, hope, and experiencing the exciting ways God provides for us!
