A gate. Another great analogy of who Jesus is. He is our gate into a relationship with God and into Heaven.
For these lessons you will have to get creative to set up a sheep “pen” for both Week 1 and 2. Something as simple as a couple of chairs with a cardboard box door, or make a whole fence from cardboard! Have the kiddos help you create the sheep pen!
Week 1 Supply list:
- I AM rhyme
- Popcorn
- Glue sticks
- Construction paper
- Printed sheep
- “Fence” area or pen
Prep:
- Cut a pice of construction paper in half, then in half again
- Glue the two pieces to a full piece of construction paper to flap open like a “gate”
- Print and cut sheep
- Set up fence/pen area
Week 2 Supply list:
- I AM rhyme
- Square pretzels
- Popsicle sticks
- Hot glue gun
- Stickers
- White balloons
- Fence/pen area
Prep:
- Hot glue sticks – 4 vertical and 2 horizontal (or diagonal) to create a “gate”
- Blow up balloons (but I would hide them until you’re ready for game)
