Faith. It’s all about believing in what we cannot see. Childlikeness is all about believing in what they can’t see. Santa, Tooth Fairy, and the Easter bunny. How fun that we get to introduce the ONE that matters when it comes to faith, Jesus! Although we cannot see him we can trust completely IN him and ON him.
Have fun with this armor piece! Poster boards make great Shields of Faith and are easy to cut. Just had a tape “handle” to the back and you are good to go.
Week 1 Supply list:
- Small treasure box, or box that closes
- Piece of candy
- Fruit snacks
- Shield of Faith for drawn selves
Prep:
- Put a piece of candy in treasure box
- Print and cut “Craft – Shield of Faith” for drawn selves
Week 2 Supply list:
- Recycled paper, crumpled up
- Adult life size Shield of Faith
- Popcorn
- Life size Shields of Faith
- Soft throwing balls, or more crumpled paper
Prep:
- Crumple up recycled paper
- Make life size Shield of Faith for adult
- Make life size Shields of Faith for children
- Print and cut “Craft – crosses”
- Print and cut “Craft- Shield of Faith”
